Bound by our faith and guided by the Holy Spirit, We, the children of God, within the Community of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in the Diocese of Baton Rouge, are called to celebrate the redeeming actions of Christ in the Holy Eucharist and to teach and bear witness to the good news of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for Priests

Dear Lord, we pray that the Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around all priests and through her intercession strengthen them for their ministry.  May our priests have the heart of St. Joseph, Mary’s most chaste spouse.  May our priests be holy, filled with the fire of your love seeking nothing but your greater glory and the salvation of souls. Amen.

Father God, our help in ages past, and our hope for years to come, stand watch over our community.  Touch our minds and hearts, and fill them with your spirit. Help us to focus on life and love, and give us the desire to seek the wisdom of our ancestors.
